Coffee on day 5
So far I have has six cups of coffee today :(. Haha I guess that means I didn’t do so well. Oh my god I have so much energy right now! I am never giving up coffee again. It just tastes so good! I am actually really surprised I made it four days, I didn’t think I was going to be able to do it for that long, so I guess I’m actually proud of myself. I will try to only have one cup tomorrow, but today I’m not limiting myself, sometimes I just need to spoil myself. Coffee make life good (:

Day Four!
Day 4
I am going to drink coffee tomorrow. No doubt. I am addicted. I miss it. I have not really found throughout this experiment that I don’t need coffee, but rather how much I love it, and that is suuuper good, and I don’t think I’m going to last.
Day 4
On the fourth day of the experiment, I drew what I observed in nature. The art work was of what still exists and of what no longer exists because of urban development and pollution. I drew the sunset, the dark sky, the mountains, and a dead tree. I appreciated that where I live gives me beautiful views of the mountains and clear views of the stars. There are plenty of areas that do not have natural environment to gaze out. In the case of the dead tree, it shows how we have destroyed nature or the natural process of life and death. Just sitting on my deck and looking at nature, I become calm even after a rough loss in soccer. It relieves my stress, which is one benefit of living in Lambertville, but my drawings did not do justice to the scenes. However, since I knew what I was going for, I could still feel that power of nature. Now, I look forward to the activity on the last day of the experiment, swimming at the gym. It is going to be fun.

Day 4

I successfully went outside and took my walk yay!!! So it was lightly drizzling and chill like yesterday and I survived my walk even though I slipped (I blame my boots). I was also lucky to get pictures today. The walk was very quite and like too quiet cause the only noise there was my footsteps and swimming ducks at one point. Honestly it was nice and relaxing aside from the terrible weather.
I didnt do it

Days one-three
Day two, I'm surprised how many things we use on a daily basis actually are recyclable. It makes
you think about just how much we casually throw away and never even think about.
Day three, yeah its getting a little annoying now to sort things into different groups and constantly check to see if you can recycle them. I like how people always ask "why don't you recycle, your destroying the planet!" Its because the alternative to destroying the planet is as you probably guessed, having to recycle. ):

And on the third day...

Day 3
In day three, I enjoyed time playing chess with my father after not having played for ten years. It was a great experience and I hope we will continue to do things together not just sports but educational things to. During our first game, we were both really bad, and I lost quickly even though I took his queen in four minutes. I was told by my step mom that my brain is getting mushy and needs to be exercised by playing more chess. Even though she was just teasing, I wonder if she may be right, just a little. Our next game did not last much longer because my little three year old sister woke up and wanted to join us in our game of chess. It was a fun day, spending time with the family. I hope later tonight I will be able to play with my dad another game. Either way my life was altered by having to use my mind and engage in friendly competition with my dad.

Day 3
I came very close to making myself a cup of coffee so that I could be more awake for the tests today, but I resisted! I decided to make myself hot chocolate instead. It didn’t work at all. I took like 2 sips and let my brother have the rest… very disappointing. I am very excited to have coffee back in my life at the end of the week.
