Voluntary Days 1 & 2

Walden week seemed interesting when I first heard about it, so I was very happy that my class had the opportunity to participate if wanted. At first I was only going to spend an hour outside each day (assuming the weather was agreeable), but then I decided to give up meat as well. Reasons? I did spend my hour outside yesterday, but I sat on a chair on the patio with the computer doing homework. (Okay, mostly homework.) (.... not mostly, that was a lie). WiFi isn't exactly "connecting to nature", so meat is gone now, too. (Which is a shame because my mom made BBQ chicken last night.... *sigh*) But everything is going well. I didn't have my computer with me today, so I spent my time with my math homework without distractions and clocks. It was a nice break.
