Day 2
Day 2
On day two of the experiment I have decided to read about the world. The article I decided to pick was on the topic of Obama's $447 billion job plan and the four reasons it will not succeed. It was entitled "A Plan on Job Deserves a Hearing “and was written by Christina D. Romer. I hoped that it would make me more informed about the problems the U.S. is having and about the concerns adults express about the economy." The argument against the plan claims that individual tax cuts won't work because prices of gas and low consumer confidence are preventing people from buying things. Another point raised against the plan is that the plan does not help people who owe more on their houses than their houses are worth because their debt does not allow them to spend. The cost per job being too high and the concern over the deficit holding back the economic recovery are the last two reasons people believe Obama's plan will not work. I am on the fence because I do not understand all the arguments on both sides, but I do appreciate what my parents can do for me by being able to hold a steady job at a time when lots of people want jobs so badly. Also, there is just not enough money to pay the entire world to work.

The real Day 2
Day 2
Day 2...
Voluntary Days 1 & 2
So the pictures above were the places I walked passed or through. Today the weather was fine not like yesterday. No wind so it was not as cold or hot. There was leaves everywhere so it already autumn which is one of my favorite seasons!!! As you can see the sky isn't pretty as it was yesterday but walking today and going pass houses, I notice decorations. Halloween is coming around and there are pumpkins and cob webs and skeletons. Probably when Halloween comes closer Lambertville will be like Halloween Town.

First Three Pages
Contrary to popular belief I enjoy writing stories but stop short because I get bored and move onto a new idea and have only finished a part one to a mini series of stories with my friends.
I have a list of about 4 or 5 stories I have started I should near finish during walden week. So the 3 pages thing might get obscured and turn into a little more. Since I'm at school for this blog I cannot give a sample of new fresh content put forth by me.

Day 1
First Day
I am trying to give up coffee for Walden Week, so I didn’t have any this morning and I was really tired today :(. So far I haven’t found anything good about giving up coffee, but I am hoping that by the end of the week I wont be so reliant on it. I hope that I will be able to go through the whole week without it but I’m not so sure if I will be able to.

Day One Starts Early
@Kaycee, see below. Had to look it up after we discussed this. Turns out I was right in that the word itself has no inherent meaning. It is just the name of Emerson's movement.
tran·scen·den·tal·ism/ˌtransenˈdentlˌizəm/
Noun:
A 19th-century idealistic philosophical and social movement that taught that divinity pervades all nature and humanity.
