Emily Dickenson's poems are still popular today, because their themes can still be applied to our society today even though she lived in a completly different time frame than us. Her themes within her works were mostly about her solitude, nature, and living in a state of want. Throughout her life she seldom left home, and she rarely had visitors. This was the cause of poems on Dickenson's loneliness, and natures influence on her.
Day five ended up being easy. I had work then my family and I ended up visiting relatives for the entire evening. So we didn't watch Tv or play any video games. The music part was tough to avoid though. My parents and other family members kept putting Christmas music on. I guess it was alright though because it wouldn't have been my first choice for enjoyment.
