Ms. Damron's Day 2

Hello Bloggers! First I have to say how interesting this experiment has been so far. I'm so proud of everyone who figured out/got in to the blog and used the space to process the experience yesterday and today. I thought you would all comment under my post, but now that I see the posts appearing right on the page, I think I like it this way. What do you guys think? Yesterday I had a lovely (cold) walk in the woods near my house and this morning before heading to McCarter, I talked with some bloggers and decided to go vegan with Dain for the rest of the week (and continue the walks). Well, I held back from getting my favorite Indian dish (palak paneer, which has cheese) at our lunch in Princeton...not so bad b/c the other stuff at the buffet was yummy. However, when we went to Small World for coffees afterwards, I ordered a mocha coffee without thinking -- on auto-pilot -- and then realized that the drink has milk in it! After only a few hours of trying to be aware, I lapsed into "sleepwalking" through life! I hope I learned my Transcendentalist lesson (to be more "awake" and aware of myself and my actions). I went for another cold but peaceful walk and then stopped at the market for soy milk to use in tomorrow's coffee. Anyway, keep your spirits up, everyone, and remember to work in a few quotes from the Transcendentalists when possible/appropriate as you blog.
